    These workshops have been postponed.
Watch our website for news on our next offering. Thank you for your understanding.

We have scheduled two opportunities to take part in the Living the Pledge workshop this Fall!

An in-person workshop will take place Saturdays, September 21 and October 5, 2024, at Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Rd., Glen Allen, VA  23059.  9am – 4:30pm.  You must attend both days. We’ll provide coffee, tea, water, light snacks;  please bring your own lunch. Childcare available upon request. $60 registration (scholarship assistance available).

By popular demand, an online workshop!  6 weekly sessions, Tuesdays, September 24 – November 12; 6:30-8:30pm ET.  (No session Oct 15 or Nov 5.) $60 registration (scholarship assistance available).

Before each session, participants will be asked to prepare by reading articles and watching videos that cover the major topics of the modules we will cover that day.  (3 modules each in-person session; 1 module each online session.) Participants will be assigned to a small group that will meet for about half the time.

Sessions will also include large group presentations and conversations. We will use Mentimeter, an interactive presentation software accessed via a smart phone, throughout the various sessions to help us share insights with one another and build community. Instructions for accessing this free app will be provided.

Space will be limited.  Should the workshop fill up, we will maintain a waitlist and those on it will be first in line to register for the next offering.

Hope you will help us spread the word, and if you haven’t yet had a chance to participate in a Living the Pledge workshop, please make plans to join us!
